I got the idea while testing two of my Later & Later delays at the same time. This is a slightly stripped back version of that delay but then doubled up so splits your signal into two delays routes each with their own controls for time and repeats and a master mix control.
The toggle switch either sets the delays lines to parallel or looping into each other to create crazy reverb like ambience. There is an expression out for the time control for one of the delay lines and a force pads which puts one of the delays lines into chaos while keeping the other side clean.
Christian Savill of Slowdive has said he is considering swapping out his Strymon DIG for his new Mirror Mirror because he likes it so much and would use it with one side set very fast like a chorus effect and the other side as slow ambient repeats. Another great guitarist Danny James is already using the Mirror Mirror for rehearsal sessions with The Gymkhana (the new band from Patch of The Sundays), which I am very excited about.
