With simple volume and gain for both sides this pedal could not be easier to use and provides a multitude of drive sounds.Find the side you like the sound of as a regular drive and then set the volume of the other side to act as a boost for solos. Set the gain and volumes to the same level and switch from one to the other for different flavours. Or just slam both circuits on for a thick and meaty tone that is still very articulate, without muddying the guitar notes. At low gain either circuit will lightly colour the guitar signal and clean up with guitar volume. At full gain both circuits will strip paint off your wall.
